At CIBIS, we continually invest in Formlify ensuring the platform remains secure, modern, accessible and aligned with evolving industry standards.
As part of this commitment, we have recently completed a significant upgrade program across the Formlify platform including ensuring we PCI-DSS to further protect customers and reduce credit card fraud along with ISO 27001 compliance obligations.
These enhancements also result in modernising and improving many aspects of the platform experience, including:
- Enhanced accessibility with improved screen-reader support, hidden descriptive text and expanded keyboard navigation
- Streamlined file upload user-interface for a more intuitive experience and to improve the presentation of a form
- Modernised tab navigation with responsive scrolling and keyboard support
- Improved interface consistency with standardised layouts, spacing and button styling
- New intent-based button styling to better guide user actions and decision-making
- WCAG-aligned accessibility enhancements including larger themed radio buttons and checkboxes
- Advanced form logic controls allowing forms to prevent submission when required business rules are not met
- Enhanced PDF layout and rendering to improve presentation and reduce overall file sizes
- Enhanced the Date Picker and added a “Today” button, allowing users to instantly select the current date
- Improved signature rendering
- Updates to Static HTML content and Table styling
- Improved List rendering: Static HTML lists now format and display correctly
- New Table styling: The standard template has been updated. Tables now use clean divider lines between rows instead of alternating row background colours
- Action Required:
- If you previously added manual bullet points (e.g., typing ”-” or ”*”) to force a list appearance, you may need to remove them
- Style Verification: If you use custom CSS styles or classes, please review your content to ensure it still displays as intended
In any case, we strongly recommend people using Formlify on mobile devices (e.g. iPads) are using a version that is supported by Formlify. Details of supported browsers are here. As an interim measure, we have created a custom build to allow for iOS Safari 15+ as we have seen some active devices using older versions, however, this support is only a temporary measure.
These upgrades represent an important step forward for the platform and further strengthen Formlify’s position as a secure, enterprise-ready digital forms solution.
On our Roadmap. Enabling you to run the forms directly from your own website using your own templates. Providing support for QR codes and pre-populating your form submissions and optionally allocating them to your authenticated users.
